We have been staying at a RV park in Traverse City while visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. While here we learned about a game I have never heard of before. It is galled GaGa. It is sort of like dodge ball but it is played in an octagonal pit.

Apparently the more players the better. Everyone gets in the pit and puts one hand on the railing until the play starts. The umpire throws in a soft ball and then the play starts. If you get hit below the knee you are out. You can grab the ball and throw it at others and they can grab the rail to help jump out of the way. After awhile, they throw in a second ball to make it more interesting.
