Change in plans, Jerry called Sunday evening to let us know that Georgiana was in a serious wreck with a big truck. Talked to him later and they had moved her to a bigger trauma center in another town. We decided we needed to pack up and leave, so we got everything ready to head out early in the morning. Decided to swing through Tomball and drop our bikes off in our storage, drop my sunglasses off to be repaired (broke the nose piece weeks ago) and grab bite to eat before finishing the trip.
Got to Jerry and Georgiana’s place on Monday evening and got set up. We have had our own RV pad at their farm for years. Jerry and Bruce had built the pad years ago and then added water and electric hookups. The pad is big enough for two RVs as Jerry and Georgiana left their’s parked there when they had one. While we have been on this trip Bruce and Jerry had arranged to have a sewer connection added so we could stay longer term if we needed a place to take a break from traveling. The installation was complete and works fine, makes it easier to stay longer as we don’t have to worry about getting our holding tanks full
